The U.S. Department of Transportation recently released a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant program.
Funds will be awarded on a competitive basis for projects that will improve: safety, environmental sustainability, quality of life, mobility and community connectivity, economic competitiveness and opportunity including tourism, state of good repair, partnership and collaboration, and innovation.
$1.5 billion is available for the FY 2023 program, with at least $15 million for projects located in historically disadvantaged communities. Applications are due on February 28, 2023. |
